Fridhem folk high school, magazine to celebrate the anniversary of the summer courses
As a graphic design teacher at Fridhems folkhögskola I am often asked to help designing advertising material of different kinds. In 2019 the school wanted to celebrate the 20´th anniversary of the summer courses, A team consisting of me, journalist Maria Maunsbach, photographer Emmalisa Pauly and junior designer Tora Essley produced a colourful magazine that was available in print and digitally the entire year.

The front page illustration was made in creative collaboration with Tora Essley, where we played around with shapes, ice cream colours and tools in Adobe Illustrator.

Another spread from the summer magazine, where we continued with the soft typography and ice cream theme, contrasted with black and white photos.

The school wanted to show their long history, and I chose to do it in the shape of a ladder-shaped infographic

Magazine spread with introduction of the head chef of the restaurant and a traditional recipe.

The back page of the magazine shows Lena, participant of 25 summer courses over the years.
