My project began with a call for people to share their personal texts about friendship. The material I received was then compiled into a book. It’s a project where I invited everyone to participate and encouraged people to express themselves creatively. The idea is to give emerging writers greater visibility and an opportunity to be published. Here are more pictures from the project: hedvigwallin.com/examensarbete

The various texts explore multiple aspects of friendship. Hopefully, the book will inspire readers to reflect on friendship themselves, and at the end of the book, there’s an opportunity to write their own text on the theme.

The project also explores the concept of illustrated books for adults, a genre that is almost nonexistent today. This book is an attempt to revive the tradition of storytelling where text and images interact—a natural part of children's books but rarely seen in books aimed at adults.
