I wanted to create a pattern for children where the imagination can flow freely. I let earth, sky and sea flow into each other. The ground turns into a waterfall, which turns into a rain. The turtles swim slowly forward in the sea, or have they got wings and glide through the air? To further inhance the feeling that all boundaries have been blurred, I have mixed elements from around the world; lemurs from Madagascar, lanterns from Asia, pigs from Scandinavia, etc.
