Fridge magnets - Kommunal
One of Sweden’s largest trade unions wanted comic strips in the form of refrigerator magnets that would explain in a simple and effective way what the union can do for its members.

The finished fridge magnets are sold in the customer's webshop. The campaign and the graphic design are made by +1 Kommunikationsbyrå.
The client gave me a number of themes and situations to start from, I delivered ten idea sketches from which the client chose four to proceed with.
In consultation with the customer, details were decided such as which professional categories would be represented and what the uniforms should look like.
This comic strip is designed to suit a specific issue that the customer is pursuing politically, that of abolishing the qualifying deduction.
The space for the comics was small (11*5 cm) so part of the challenge was to economize with the space and compress text and images without losing readability.
The color fields are flat and the lines are clear to suit the specific printing technique.
