Norrland – the north of Sweden – is rapidly changing from being a mostly rural and depopulated area. Several investments in heavy industry give the region the lead in the transition to climate-sustainable production and the region is crying out for new residents and new skills. But for the counties in the north to be truly attractive, they must also invest in culture.
