The Lost Sandal
“Linh falls asleep on the back of the motorbike. Her favourite sandal slipps off. Oh no! Will she ever find her dearest slipper again?” The Lost Sandal is a bilingual children’s book (VN-ENG), written by Geralda De Vos and illustrated in a Vietnamese context by me (Sofia). We launched the book in May 2021 with kids activities and an exhibition of the watercolour paintings at Soma Art Café in Ho chi Minh City.

The pattern on the inside of the books cover page. The cockroach can be found on every page of the book and is an addition that many children find fun. Sometimes it is very small and hard to find.
